EdenTree’s Connect_ET is an
easy-to-use solution for automating and optimizing communications
networking equipment labs, transforming those labs from cost centers
to competitive advantage. Connect_ET addresses the long-standing
inefficiencies and antiquated methods of labs with a holistic
approach that includes high-value, easy-to-use software and low-cost
cable switching.
The Connect_ET system relies on three core components: (1) a client/server software
application that controls; (2) a mechatronic (integrates mechanics
with electronics and intelligent computer control) cable switcher;
and (3) a secure and robust access protocol at the application
layer. Lab equipment -- including test equipment and systems under
test -- are connected to the system once, allowing the cable
switcher, controlled by software, to perform reconfigurations of the
physical interconnections of devices.
