As fans flock to Arizona and Florida to watch their favorite baseball teams begin spring training, Verizon (News - Alert) Wireless is hoping to make their travels a little more pleasing with the availability of their Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO) Revision A (Rev. A) wireless network available at all spring training locations.

Thanks to this availability from Verizon Wireless, customers visiting the spring training sessions can have both Broadband Access and V Cast services.

Not only will this make it easier to stay connected while on the go, but it's also easy for business users to access email, Internet calendars and business information behind their company's firewalls.

The company also notes their service offering can be leveraged while attending spring training sessions for navigation, sports, weather, news highlights, and more.

According to a news release, Verizon invested $135 million in its network in 2007 in Arizona and $178 million in its network in 2007 in Florida

Verizon Wireless made headlines recently with the announcement that it would hire more customer service and data support reps at its customer care center in Meriden and Wallingford, Connecticut.

The increase is a response to the company's increasing customer demand for services in 2007.
