Fanfare (News - Alert), a provider of innovative testing solutions to network equipment manufacturers (NEMs) and service providers (SPs), has been selected by Japan's Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT), one of the world's largest telecommunications companies, to install the FanfareSVT test automation software (also known as iTest Team).

NTT's Network Service Systems Laboratory will utilize FanfareSVT for testing edge routers, which offer triple play services to NTT's customers over its network.
"We are excited to be able to add a customer of NTT's caliber to Fanfare's growing client list," Naoto Katsube, president of Compleo, was quoted as saying.
"The Japanese market presents a tremendous growth opportunity for Fanfare. We are currently in discussions with several key Japanese companies, and we anticipate announcing further customer wins over the coming months."

"Our partnership with Compleo and the addition of NTT to our customer roster represents the next phase in the evolution of our company," also said Tom Ryan, president of Fanfare. "Ensuring quality in network device testing is a global issue, and Fanfare is committed to offering its solutions to companies worldwide that are as equally committed to enhancing the quality of their products and services."

FanfareSVT was selected because it removes testing bottlenecks in NTT as well as between NTT and the networking manufacturers it collaborates with. The solution considerably reduces the time taken for testing and launching new services.
Through its solution, Fanfare offers a standard way of receiving and sending complex test results. The solution will enable NTT to identify and correct device defects before they are introduced into the network. As a result, the company will be able to offer popular services, like triple play, to its customers, without compromising on its commitment to high quality standards.
