If recent trends are to be believed, Argentina may soon become the world’s Creative Outsourcing Center. Chosen over other countries, including India, China, Eastern Europe and Mexico, Argentina has been considered ideal for outsourcing work related to Graphic Design, Flash 3, Web Design, Games and Video projects.

Since creative work is generally culture specific, creative outsourcing faces its own set of challenges which seem to be best met by Argentina, as it provides the most favorable price-quality ratio. As a creative country, its western culture along with educated specialists in the field could provide employers with cost friendly offers that meet their creative needs.
One of the features that make Argentina suitable for creative outsourcing is its economic position. The modern telecom infrastructure and competitive market attracted call center giants like Teletec into the country. However, Argentina is home to highly skilled labor at wage rates which are equivalent to those of fast developing countries like India and hence it saw an increase in the number of companies interested in programming and Web development working towards investing their time and resources in Argentina.
Argentina’s western culture, an inherent part of its creativity, gave the country an edge over other eastern countries like India in creating services which were more westernized in style, allowing the country to easily meet requirements of company clients.
In addition to Argentina’s infrastructural and economic position, the fact that a huge population in this country is well educated and qualified for posts of 3D (Three Dimensional) specialist, animator, Web designer, graphic designer and video developers contributed to its selection as a creative hub. Known to posses the highest cultural stand in South America, Argentina has numerous professional companies that provide high class creative designs giving the U.S. and Europe a run for their money. This is one of the reasons why the globally reputed creative company, MTV also moved its regional headquarters to Buenos Aires.
"Exporting Argentine creativity will enforce our commitment to create the best content for our audience,” remarked Robert Bakish, CEO, MTV.
While almost 98 percent of Argentineans are of European descent and have a natural flair for westernized designs and concepts, their wage levels are very close in comparison to Indian wage levels. Skilled personnel in Argentina are working at very low prices for gaining experience and better insight into their creative fields and this is one main reason why Argentina may soon be at par with India and China in the outsourcing business. The only difference being that while programming and production did it for India and China, creativity may do it for Argentina.
