Cinterion Wireless Modules, a provider of M2M communication modules has announced its new scalable platform modules, TC63i, TC65i and MC75i, are available globally.
The scalable platform has a broad range of technologies and offers significant improvements, including expanded features and a smaller footprint. To provide the customers with full flexibility, the platform is backward compatible with the existing scalable platform products.
Cinterion has an existing, very successful product family, and working for its continuous development and extension with the now launched second generation of the scalable platform.
MC75i is one of among the smallest EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution) modules in the world, and features a TCP/IP stack, serial and USB ports, and RIL driver for Microsoft (

TC65i provides embedded JAVA processing based on a state-of-the-art ARM (

Alert) 9 processor architecture. It is also equipped with GPRS, an integrated TCP/IP stack, and an array of industrial interfaces such as SPI, I2C bus, USB, AD/DA converter, and multiple GPIOs.
TC63i features industrial interfaces such as SPI, I2C, and USB, and provides reliable M2M connectivity with GPRS functionality and integrated TCP/IP stack.
These new products are equipped with advanced ARM9 processor in 65nm structure combined with the field proven and reliable Cinterion M2M software stack.
The customer receives a high performance and efficient product, coupled with the benefit of long-term availability with the products built upon the latest silicon technology.
The advanced platform offers a broad operational temperature range with advanced temperature management for module protection, meeting the highest standards of quality.
RLS monitoring is another powerful M2M feature, which enables monitoring of a multitude of connection and signal strength parameters to implement features such as customized jamming detection for increased security. It also increases efficiency of the end solution by offering an improved power management system.
