CalAmp awarded USD7.5m in orders during March to June

Jul 07, 2009 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- The mobile resource management (MRM) business of CalAmp Corp (Nasdaq:CAMP) has received orders exceeding USD7.5m during the two-month period of May 2009 and June 2009, the company announced on Monday.


This is reportedly higher than the orders received in any prior two-month period.

The company said that the current orders are from a diverse customer base serving a wide array of MRM markets.

Orders for applications in Municipal School Bus Management, Service Fleet Management, Vehicle Finance, Stolen Vehicle Recovery and Mobile Internet each totalled over USD1.0m during the two month period.

CalAmp provides wireless communications solutions that enable anytime/anywhere access to critical data and content.
