IKON to Present at Mailing Systems Technology Conference
MALVERN, Pa. --(Business Wire)--
IKON Office Solutions, Inc., a Ricoh (News - Alert) company, announced that Paul Abdool, EDP, IKON's Production Print and Mail Practice Manager, will take part in the Intelligent Mail Barcodes (IMb) Intensive Workshop at this year's Mailing Systems Technology Conference. The IMb Intensive Workshop will take place on Tuesday, October 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Chicago.
Abdool's presentation, entitled "Running the Numbers for ROI" will be one of four within the workshop, which is intended to help to demystify the IMb. His session will help operations, IT, and line of business leaders make decisions on how to maximize the technologies available today to reduce costs. In addition, Abdool will deliver a unique perspective on return on investment, an aspect of the IMb that is often overlooked by companies considering the transition to the new IMb recently legislated by the United States Postal Service.
"This session will help executives tasked with managing the modern and complex mail center," explains Abdool. "With today's dynamic U.S. Postal Service rules and regulations affecting the new Intelligent Mail Barcode and mail industry, large volume mailers need to keep up or get ready to pay more than they need to," he said.
