TMI to Resell MXsense Email Archiving Solution

By Jayashree Adkoli, TMCnet Contributor

Business-critical email communications solutions provider MXsense Solutions has signed a reseller agreement with TransOptions Messaging, Inc. (TMI) for its MXsense email archiving solution.

According to the agreement, TMI will have the ability to resell MXsense Solutions’s Web-based MXsense platform to both its installed base and new customers.

The MXsense is hosted, software as a service (SaaS (News - Alert)) email archiving solution. It provides a suite of software tools to proactively manage and take control of an entire email infrastructure. It can manage email surveillance and compliance, knowledge management, and e-discovery.

In addition, the MXsense platform offers a search engine that features built-in indexing and archiving, which is designed to manage the ever-growing volumes of information and intelligence stored in email communications and attachments. It is a completely managed solution, which eliminates the need to purchase and maintain software and hardware solutions, and other ineffective tape backup routines.

Paul Banco, president of MXsense Solutions, said, “We are pleased to partner with TMI as the first reseller to offer our flagship email archiving offering. This partnership will allow us to leverage TMI’s channel expertise and installed base.”

"Despite the challenging economy, organizations still have the need to archive their email communications for a variety of purposes such as compliance, surveillance and e-discovery," added Banco. "This (email archiving and query solution) provides a zero-risk opportunity to jumpstart an email archiving project at no cost."

“As a new MXsense reseller partner, we have begun deploying MXsense for our clients -- and in most cases replacing legacy backup tape systems that are not proven to be an effective email archiving solution,” said Al Johnson, V.P. of sales for TMI. “With a 100 percent Web-based architecture, MXsense allows us to integrate a broad range of features and functionality in existing IT infrastructures. We are excited to be the first reseller to offer our clients a flexible and easy-to-use email archive solution that complements our growing portfolio of technology and telephony products.”

Recently, MXsense Solutions had enhanced its Web-based email archiving solution by adding a number of key features such as support for envelope journaling, saved searches and added security functionality. The envelope journaling is powered by Microsoft's Exchange Server and enables MXsense platform to capture additional information about email messages including BCC (News - Alert) (blind carbon copy) and distribution list recipients.

TMI is a Colorado-based technology consulting and reseller firm that offers computer telephony solutions in North America. It has expertise in implementing fax server solutions, Fax over IP (FoIP), VoIP, and PC-based telephone systems, says TMI.
