PAETEC (News - Alert) Holding Corp., a company focused on providing data, voice and Internet solutions to business-class customers throughout the nation, has announced the receipt of two 2009 INTERNET TELEPHONY Excellence Awards.

These recognitions were received for PAETEC’s Fixed Wireless and Allworx 9224 IP Phone and Tx 92/24 Expander solutions. Both awards were presented by Technology Marketing Corporation’s (TMC’s (News - Alert)) INTERNET TELEPHONY Magazine.

Through carrier-grade microwave equipment and consultative engineering, PAETEC’s Fixed Wireless solutions help to build reliable last-mile access loops between a customer network and a local PAETEC point of reference.

Wireless local loops can be provisioned at DS-3, OC-3, Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet speeds. These loops can also support the complete range of voice and IP services in the PAETEC portfolio.

The 9224 from Allworx (News - Alert) is designed to be a premier high-fidelity IP phone. Allworx, a wholly owned subsidiary of PAETEC, offers the 9224 as it has the capability to deliver a multitude of call appearances, line appearances, speed dials, busy lamp fields and an array of other functions.

PAETEC announced earlier in September the IP Simple Solutions bundle, which is designed to leverage the company’s SIP Trunking voice service, High-Speed Internet, MPLS VPN as well as the 9224 phone and IP PBX (News - Alert).

PAETEC announced earlier this summer that is had formed a strategic alliance with Intelisys Business Solutions to allow SMBs to leverage the benefits of enterprise-class Telecom Expense Management.

A New York State Government Agency selected PAETEC earlier this month to deliver its core voice services. The company will specifically offer the CIO for the state more than six million minutes per month of both local and long distance voice services for agencies on their network.

The INTERNET TELEPHONY awards are given only to those companies and solutions that demonstrate best-of-breed performance. This latest recognition for the company will help to build stronger recognition in the industry as a full services provider that delivers on value.
