Company officials said that it took nearly a year to design the new look and to feed relevant details to the Web site to make it easier for users to find information quickly. The site now includes links for people to follow PAETEC (News - Alert) on popular social media sites.

 

The company has added more than 320 pages and 300 downloadable files, the simplified navigation, relevant content, and improved search capabilities to make it easier for users to locate pertinent information about PAETEC’s capabilities.

 

Other highlights include re-written content on products, solutions and industry focus, social media links to follow PAETEC news, a more intuitive interface, video capabilities, and an option for users to request more information on every page.

 

John Chapman, PAETEC senior vice president of marketing, said that that the company’s business-focused solutions, capabilities and geographic reach have increased dramatically over the past years and the new site is designed not only to highlight their vertical focus and deep portfolio for serving their business customers, but also to educate users on the newest trends in communication technology.

The company was recently in news for opening a 20,000 square-foot warehouse at Hawkeye. The facility, built to PAETEC’s specifications, is owned by Hawkeye Electric and leased to the Rochester, N.Y.-based telecommunications provider. The state-of-the art facility centralizes inventory control for all of PAETEC’s operations.
