VoxOx Intros Unlimited Monthly Calling, Texting Subscription Plans

By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributor

VoxOx, a “Universal Communicator Service” that manages all forms of cross-media, has reportedly launched “unlimited” monthly subscription plans for calling and two-way texting. Domestic and worldwide plan options are also available.

The company is now offering a $2.45 introductory rate for its monthly domestic calling plan in U.S. and Canada as part of the launch. In fact, this rate is the lowest published rate among all leading Internet telephony providers. Users who take advantage of this offer will be able to enjoy an ongoing subscription at this discounted rate. The plan facilitates unlimited calling to landlines and mobile phones within the U.S. and Canada.

According to Bryan Hertz, CEO and co-founder of TelCentris, the company that created VoxOx, VoxOx is free for consumers who want to talk or video conference with other VoxOx users, as well as leverage its advanced integration with all major communication channels. For those consumers who want to call off-network for pennies per minute, the company offers very low rates for worldwide calling and texting.

The new monthly subscription rate for the worldwide unlimited calling plan is $12.95 a month. This plan includes unlimited calling to landlines in nearly 60 countries, as well as a subset of international mobile phone lines. Another plan on offer is the U.S. and Canada Unlimited Texting Plan. At $4.95 per month, the plan includes two-way texting to the U.S. and Canada. The worldwide unlimited texting plan is priced at $9.95 a month and includes two-way texting worldwide.

VoxOx is in beta. It helps consumers combine their existing communication channels and contacts into one interface. This helps consumers to reduce communication overload, save money on calling and texting and increase their effectiveness while communicating both online and off. When a user registers for VoxOx, he or she will receive a number of features and functionality for free. These include a dedicated phone number, in-network calling, inbound calling and faxing, a virtual personal assistant, voicemail, file sharing and the ability to easily integrate IM and social networking communities like Facebook (News - Alert), Twitter and MySpace.

In addition, each user will start with 100 free minutes of U.S. and Canada outbound calling credit or 100 U.S. and Canada outbound texts.
