Infoblox (News - Alert) has announced the release of their iPhone application, Infoblox iGrid. It’s available from the iPhone App Store.  This is an enterprise monitoring application designed for companies who use Infoblox’s systems, which deliver core network services such as domain name resolution or “DNS,” IP address assignment or “DHCP” and IP address management or “IPAM” services.

Infoblox iGrid is clearly designed for mobile network professionals. In addition it extends the power of the new Infoblox NIOS software version 5.0 GUI. The result is easy monitoring of individual appliances, while the company’s Grid technology links multiple appliances into a unified, centrally managed, core network services platform.

In addition the iGrid application provides appliance and hardware status for CPU and database usage, LAN port, LCD, memory usage, replication and temperature.
